Top 10 Video Games of 2021 So Far

It’s been an incredible year for video gamers in 2021, with some truly amazing games released to get stuck into. We’ve compiled a list of our top 10 favourites so far, so you can catch up on any games you’ve missed or find the next title to add to your collection.

    More than 15 years after its original release, Obsidian Entertainment’s KOTOR II: The Sith Lords lives up to its reputation as one of the greatest RPGs of all time. The game follows the story of its predecessor, the award-winning Knights of the Old Republic, but with a fresh perspective and novel additions. The game is full of great levels, puzzles, and story-telling.

  2. Ghost of Tsushima Platforms:  PS4

    Nothing beats a good samurai game, and Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best. Set in 13th century Japan, you take the role of a young samurai, Jin Sakai, and battle against invading Mongols. The game is incredibly immersive, with gorgeous graphical presentation, a mix of traditional and modern game mechanics, and some great voice acting.

    The long-awaited game from the developers of The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 is a sci-fi RPG set in the futuristic Night City. With amazing graphics and a plethora of customisation options, the game is a must-play for any fan of open-world RPGs.

    From the creators of Gears of War, Outriders is an intense sci-fi shooter set in an unique post-apocalyptic world. The game has an interesting story, with exciting combat and tight gunplay. And with its co-op mode, it’s perfect for playing with friends.

  9. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury Platforms:  Nintendo Switch

    Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury for the Nintendo Switch remasters the classic Wii U game, with the addition of a unique new game mode. Sadly, the game doesn’t have online cooperative or competitive multiplayer, but the single-player game plays just as good as it did before.

    Genshin Impact is a stunning open-world action-RPG set in a world of gods and magic. It’s a huge game with plenty of quests, secrets, and characters to discover. Plus, it features some of the best visuals of any free-to-play game.
